I am new to this.  Here are a couple of my questions;

Can I hook a MIDI device to an electronic organ, even one that doesn't work, and connect that to a MIDI computer?

Can I hook a MIDI device to an organ console and connect that to a MIDI computer?

Can I hook up a MIDI computer device to a set of chimes, vox humana box, or an organ chest for pipes?

If the answer to any of the above is "yes" then how?

 

The answer to all those is you can IF the device has a MIDI interface or you retrofit to install a MIDI interface.  Some electronic organs have MIDI built in, else you have to install an interface to receive and/or drive the device(s), which can be pricey.
