    Greetings everyone!

I am new here, but this seemed like a logical place to pose my question.  So here we go.

I enjoy transposing contemporary songs for the organ and playing them .  I recently recorded myself playing "Auld Lang Syne" for New Years and since then, I feel the urge to record a new one.  But I'm at a loss as to what.  So I thought I'd pose the question here.  What contemporary song would YOU like to hear played on an organ?  You can find my youtube page here: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=organman82

Post a comment here or there.  Also, if you have your own youtube account, subscribe to my channel.  Thank you all.

I am impatiently waiting for someone to do a version of "Never gonna give you up" by "Rick Astley" on an organ for obvious reasons :-)

Hmm, why would that be obvious?  Confused

    Re: Greetings everyone!

I LOVE contemporary (well contemporary for me anyhow, being a child of the 80's) stuff on the organ:

some recordings I did via midi sequencing on the Reuter opus 822 (primarily of the Reuter opus 412 organ which is now somewhat operable in my house):

    "I'll be over you, TOTO"

    And some Nirvana:

    Come As You Are

Smash Mouth's "Walking on the Sun"

I'll look for a sequence of the Rick Astley ;)

I always wanted to hear 'Wilhelm Tell ouverture" on the organ. Not exactly contemporary but it would be a racket...

What about: Deep Purple "Child in Time"?

here is the william tell on 5 ranks:

I'll be redoing that one with 21 ranks in a few months..should be much nicer..especially the dramatic ending.

Deep Purple needs a Hammond no? ;)

    Re: Greetings everyone!

"Since I fell for you" and "Hello Stranger".  The latter has Hammond on it, but a full transcription would be fun with the original riffs.  I guess I could put that on my list of projects.
