I could not get them to download nor open. I wish you knew the model number of this Conn organ.

That's a stealth organ. It is seeking to remain invisible.
Hey Clarion,
Is you Phoenix organ a digitized refinished console or is it all new? Your cabinet style dosen't look like the ones on the website. Is that a home style cabinet instead of a church cabinet?
I apologize for the questions but I've considered having an older console digitized for my retirment organ.

I don't know what website you've been look at, but there are a lot of churches and homes using these French Style. slanted side consoles: http://phoenixorgans.com/featuredInstallations.php The quality is the same, regardless of whether the installation is for a church or a home.
My old organ could have saved quite a few $$$ by having it rebuilt, but I wanted a three manual, so decided to start out from scratch, with a cherry console, with matching speakers and subwoofers. I chose the slant sided console for the esthetics of placing it in a home living room without taking over the entire room. The console is very heavy duty solid hardwoods and veneers.
They do a lot of rebuilds. The Texas dealer is probably the best source of info as to what's available in your area: http://phoenixorgansoftexas.com/Home/tabid/367/Default.aspx

It is amazing at how a small organ can be so unique that we find it rather pleasant to enjoy a bit. I think this one has several of us very curious about the model, features, etc. I will ask ReedGuy if this organ had a few or several black couplers on the upper manual, and maybe at least one on the lower. It is amazing to know how well a tube organ can be working now. The old Conn Minuets are the only ones that really had my attention, and I found them most interesting. I missed a couple of times on having one, and I do regret it now. When I was young I think I was fasincated at how those long stop tabs worked, and the sound was pleasant compared to the "clarinety" buzzy and brassy old Baldwins I played in the dealer's showroom as well as a few others about town. I also played Hammond more than anything, but this small Conn tube Minuet just was unique. It was in a small Baptist church who had a county singing convention every second Sunday of the month from 2-4PM. I would go early and play on this organ, and they even had one of those cards (blue) around the stops as a guide as to how to set the tabs for various types of church music. There were other cards for various types of music.
I have a tube Wurlitzer which is almost finished with the restoration, but the pedals still need some work. It has a strong sound, and is built inside like a battleship. It is quite a step up from many of the newer organs I saw in the shop with those same as cardboards inside with poor connections on them.
I finally learned once how to post pics on here, but I would have to check that out again. ReedGuy you might try that on here instead of with your discussion. It is great that you shared with us that nice experience.

David, should I PM you the photos or email you directly. If I should email you directly, what is your addess?
Clarion, I would love to try a Phoenix! If you are offering to let me try your's I'd be most interested and appreciative!
James, I can't recall any couplers, but I'll look at the pictures again and see if it jogs my memory.
On a separate note, how do I make sure that when people PM me, that my email is notified of it? I don't think I've been getting any notifications on my email address. Oh, I wish I was more computer savy!

Sure!

With this system, I don't think there is any way you can make sure. I have experienced all manner of bizarre unpredictable results with this mail system. I presume the intent, is that when someone sends you private mail, the system is supposed to send a notice to your email address. I don't think this always happens. I just sent you an email to see what happens.

If you can manage to get the photos to David, then you can upload photos the way the rest of us do it:
1. Place the pictures somewhere on your computer where you can easily locate them;
2. Goto http://tinypic.com/ website;
3. Click on "Browse" , and then use it like Windows Explorer to find your picture file;
4. Click on the "Upload" button, and your picture should show up in a small window;
5. The website will give you two or three address configurations. Copy the [IMG*] xxxx.jpg [/IMG*] file name;
6. Here on the Form Using the "Insert/Edit Image" icon at the top of the "message posting window", paste the address you copied from tinypic.com.
