Thanks for the update on Hauptwerk.
Notice that, just as I predicted some time ago on these boards, Hauptwerk has been bought by a larger company. (just as I predicted Allen would introduce the Opus series.)
Still no support for linux, unfortunately, but perhaps they will now have the resources to pursue that. Really...if you've written it for Mac OS-X, the core of the software simply cannot be that different on Linux. They are both POSIX based systems. A lot of the code should simply compile under a like linux compiler to whatever they are using for OS-X. I'm sure the main hold up is centered around the audio output stage. They are worried how to support that given that, unlike Mac hardware, there is no standard for Linux. But linux is making tremendous advances in that area, of trying to have a standard like OSX & Windows do. I believe it is called ALSA.
