Does anyone on here have one of these? How do they sound?

I've had a 460 for a number of years now, I added Reverb, Bass channel, Newer Trem and Midi. Expression pedal had Midi output and control for a OSI swell shade control. Pretty good sound, I'm going to be selling it shortly as tomorrow we get our R311. Looks like the Acc, Great, Pedal should interface with the pipe with little work. For the Solo, I need to rewrite some of my software. Also need to do some revoicing. Does anyone want an analog 2m theatre style shell with Tabs, Kbds, Ped, etc free? (Not the 460) I need to make room. So Cal area. Also my 460 does not have those back stoptabs. The Rythm unit was iin a drawer instead. I took it out as it was awful. I used an Alesis drum unit instead. Have a lot of cards for the card reader. I'll check and replace any burned out bulbs. Bottom line is the MOS1 and MOS2 Allens have pretty good sound, with some upgrades, even today it's a nice instrument.

I'll second Al's comments on a 460. I don't have one but have played one a friend has and liked it. Its a very gutsy machine and has good trem's given its age. The card reader voices and things like that take a little getting used to compared to the new Allens where everything is right there under your face. Ed recently had to have a complete new main computer installed and some other work and has been doing some revoicing. He says it now sounds even a lot better than when I played it. One of the really great things about old Allens is you can still get parts for just about any model. Don S.
